My name is Lucy Braganza, I am the founder of Rokkall and I create bone art using ethically sourced and foraged animal bones. I believe bones to be truly beautiful and my work represents my strong belief in life after death. The idea that the soul exists long after the body has died.

My pieces are mostly vintage frames but I also make domes, glass teapots, vintage teacups and anything else that I think would bring the bones to life. Most of my materials are recycled, vintage or antique and I try to source as much as I can from charity shops, car boot sales and antique shops in order to be as sustainable as possible.

I have worked with deer, sheep, muntjac, mice, moles, frogs, toads, crows, magpies, bats, zebra finches and more but I also work with beetles, butterfly’s and moths and I am even currently working on a puffer fish.

My work has a Victorian feel and occasionally I venture into baroque and early rococo if I’m feeling adventurous. I very much love my job and I hope this is reflected in the artwork I create.

I’m based in Doncaster and I’ve had a fascination with numbers my whole life so you could say I was destined to become a numerologist at some point.

It indirectly started with a big and sudden awakening in late 2013 that endowed me with psychic gifts (I literally went from nothing to then being able to see and communicate with spirits in minutes!) and I became very spiritual and on a quest to learn more and use my gifts to help others.
